recording memories

Tomorrow is Holdens 7th birthday.  I want somewhere I can record the things my kids do and say, because I know someday i'm not going to be able to remember anything. This way I can go back and read about the funny things my kids do and say when ever I want. They grow up way too fast... Bam - Holden is 7, Bam - Delainey will be 2 in 32 days, Bam - Ashton will be 4 in 54 days! I hate that their Birthdays are all so close together. They all get a year older in one swift blow. I hate that I have to work full time, I feel like I miss so much of them during the day and that I don't get to play a role in raising them as much as I would like to. So, what I do get, I will keep here!

Ashton Swallowed a coin... will he poop money?

Ashton swallowed a coin today. I was standing on the other side of the room and Holden was sitting on the couch playing a video game, I heard Ashton quietly say to him "Holden... I had some money in my mouth and it went down and I swallowed it" I quickly went over and rammed my fingers down his throat to see if it was stuck in his throat or if it was close enough that he could bring it back up. It was the end of the world for him. He didn't bring it back up, so we had to explain to him what was going to happen. At first he said it was a penny, then he said it was a dime. If it was a penny we could be in trouble. Any peny made after the 1980's contain zinc and if it dosn't come out after 4 weeks it'll turn corosive. So yay, we have to check his poop for the next few days "strain it through water" and make sure it comes out. He was very distraught. Then he said "I gotta go pee it out" LOL so he went to the bathroom and sat there and me and Keenan watched him strain like he was giving birth. It was so hard not to laugh, he was sitting there crying and saying nothing was coming out. So lots of high fiber for Ashton for the next few days. Fingers crossed we some him pooping money soon!!! LOL.
